What are the 5 star hotel rooms?

Higher-range hotels offer different types of rooms. There is of course a standard room. However, it is needed to meet the expectations of all the guests. Some of them may need bigger space or more facilities. Therefore 5 star hotel rooms should be categorized and offer higher standards as well.

Types of 5 star hotel rooms

As mentioned before there can be found different kinds of rooms in 5 star hotel. The names may be various, as every hotel may give its own name to every room category. Although mostly they are similar. There can be mentioned:

1. Standard room – this is a basic room with standard equipment. It is usually available in two options:

• double room includes a king or queen-size bed,
• twin room with two separate beds (sometimes twin rooms include two queen size beds to be used by 4 people).

2. Room with connecting doors – there are two standard rooms connected by a common door with each other. Do not worry, doors work in the way that both sides need to open them. So even if one room decides to open the doors, the second one needs to do the same. Otherwise, no one is going to move from one room to another.
3. Upgraded standard room/executive room – this is a higher standard room. It can be bigger than a basic one and have more equipment (e.g a coffee machine instead of just instant coffee and a pot/kettle). As well it may include a bigger bed for example king size instead of queen size. It may have included in the price access to more hotel facilities like a „club lounge”.

4. The suite – it is a room which is more spacious than the previous ones. The idea of the suite is that it includes a bedroom, living area (sofa, TV, coffee table), and bathroom. The suites may be separated for types as well:

• basic suite / junior suite – it is the smallest kind of suite. Usually, it is bigger than a standard or executive room, and has a living area connected to the bedroom;
• the suite – is bigger than a junior suite. Includes separated bedroom and living room;
• executive suite – in some hotels can be found the high standard suite. It is the most spacious available room option. Includes a separate bedroom (or a few) and a living room.
